    Once in a lifetime experience....

I had the special honor of sharing my story of when I met Michael Jackson at the Beijing premiere of ‘This is it” on October 27, 2009. I met Michael Jackson when we happened to be eating at the same restaurant in 2002 in America. He was so nice and took time to sign autographs and take pictures with everyone.

The night of the premiere was incredible and the movie itself was amazing. I felt like I was at a concert instead of inside a movie theater. It was like a celebration. In fact, I was most surprised by how uplifting the movie was; there was no mention of his death. Everyone in the theater was screaming “Michael!”, clapping and waving their hands, and singing along to all the songs

My favorite part was the revelation of the true meaning of “This is it” in Jackson’s own words.   Jackson’s interaction with his dancers, musicians and crew was truly touching. It was bittersweet to watch how hard they had been working.

Many Chinese people came up to me after my speech. A lot of his fans never got to meet him, so they just wanted to see my picture of Michael and me and to hear what he was like.
