    Kansas City Brings the Best in BBQ Together

    This is the second video I compiled from a recent trip to Kansas City, MO to compete in the country's largest barbecue cooking contest, the American Royal.

     

    Over 500 teams spent the weekend enjoying the parties, the food and the fine people while simultaneously trying to leave as #1 in brisket, prok shoulder, chicken and ribs.

     

    In the end, it was two local teams who won bragging rights -- Pork Pullin Plowboys in Saturday's Invitational contest (124 Grand Champion teams including myself) and Boondoggle BBQ in Sunday's Open (approximately 500 teams of varying degrees of experience).
