This iReport is part of an assignment:
Sound-off |
15 yr old Attacked
*Five arrested in alleged rape of girl, 15
I understand there were up to 20 participants, these people should be treated like a Rabid Pack of Dogs. Rabid dogs are put down, the behavior alone is inhuman!
It is frightening to comprehend these are children raised in society, the Adults on campus to monitor the dance all need to be released from their job. After hearing the two sister’s account of the many men present outside the gate, in view of the assistant principal is cause enough. Fear makes these people unable to act, a simple call to have a patrol car circle the area, may have made all the difference for this young person.
Have you ever been threatened with bodily harm? The injuries will heal the wounds of the psyche and soul you carry for eternity. Her ability to ever feel safe is disrupted for the rest of her life.
So anyone watching, participating, or having knowledge of should feel the same fear and disruption forever. I watched the District Superintendent give an interview, I am not sure what I was expecting but he displayed no compassion. It was like a routine accident, this was a child viciously attacked. In light of the law cut off at 14, I don’t know how or why that age came to be it needs to be changed to incorporate school age. Regardless of this being a rough area, where are the patrols and why was it held at night in an area that is deemed unsafe?
