This iReport is part of an assignment:
Ask Dr. Sanjay Gupta |
H1N1 question
I noticed you were wearing a protective mask and gown while visiting a young boy in hospital with H1N1. ( CNN thursday 10/29) Is this precaution due to doctor or hospital protocol or because you believe you can be re-infected with the swine flu? I had the lame idea that once you've survived H1N1 your body has developed anti-bodies or whatever to prevent re-infection. No new variations have appeared to my knowledge.
