This is for all those who keep touting Obama's socialist programs such as "Cash for Clunkers" as a resounding success.

It turns out that the Cash For Clunkers program cost the American taxpayer about $24,000 PER VEHICLE....for those that would not have been sold anyway if the program had never been initiated.

Total cost to the taxpayers:  3 Billion dollars.

According to analysis by Edmunds.com,  690,000 new vehicles were sold under the program last summer (almost 70% of which were foreign cars), but 565,000 new vehicles would have been sold ANYWAY if the program never existed.

And Edmunds.com's estimate of the ultimate sales increase generally matches what industry experts had thought according to George Pipas, a sales analyst with Ford Motor Co.

But programs such as this one, the new home buyer rebate, and "FREE" Health Care, are fine examples of Obama's creativity in his efforts to "Spread the wealth" in America.

It also highlights the apathy  and complete and utter lack of understanding on the part of the American public as to WHERE... exactly, all this money is coming from.

Apparently they think it's all just Obama's Magic Money.

Obama supporters in Detroit, who came looking for bailout money had this to say on video:

Q - Where's the money coming from?

A - I believe it's coming from the city of Detroit or the state.

Q - Where did they get it from?

A - Some funds that was given by Obama.

Q - And where did Obama get the funds?

A - Obama might of got the funds from, umm...

      I have no idea to tell you the truth.    He's the president.

Q - Why are you here?

A - To get some money.

Q - What kind of money?

A - Obama money !

Q - Where's it coming from?

A - Obama.

Q - And where did Obama get it?

A - I don't know, his stash? I don't know. I don't know where he got it from but he's giving it to us to help us to help us. We love him. That's why we voted for him. Obama! Obama!
