This iReport is part of an assignment:
One thing to beat the recession |
Art is the Key
As an artist in NYC, things were tough enough before the recession. Now it's nearly impossible to find collectors with money to spend.
My "one thing" turns out to be many: 100 keys made from chopped American coins, to be sold for $50 each, as part of a new type of art I call MoneyMorphosism. Learn more at: http://www.TedStanke.blogspot.com
I consider this to be a public offering, an investment into my art career, and as I gain notoriety surely the value of this initial experiment will rise. I actively encourage the re-selling of these keys for more than the initial price, and plan to keep the initial investors informed when a key sells for higher.
