Two Iranian scientists, Effat Emamian, M.D. and Ali Abdi, Ph.D. received prestigious New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame Innovators Award in October 2009. This award recognized their novel cross disciplinary engineering-biology invention that can find disease causing molecules and novel therapeutic targets. Their green wrist bands show their solidarity with the human rights movement in Iran.
