    Hollywood CarNaval.... Crazy!!!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Pixel attended this party Saturday night and told me, 'The streets were filled with people dancing and living it up. The fire dancer and vaudeville dancer were really cool.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

Is it a carnival, costume parade, party, or all of the above. It is hard to figure out! One thing for sure... people were wild and having a gay o' time. The merriment and festivities included a fire dancer, vaudeville dancer, 3 Dj's, live music, dancing, and of course a costume parade. The parade didn't really move as most parades I have attended lately. The merrymakers would migrate from one spot to the next.... enjoying the company of others along the way. An expected 400,00 people; the Los Angeles Sheriff  Dept. were prepared for anything. This was the Worlds Largest Halloween Carnival! We have a lot of "World Largest" events here in L.A. The accuracy of this fact is always open for debate.  The list of characters in costume are too many to mention. The special guests of the evening were Jesus and The Hare Krishna's... bringing their messages of peace, love and equality. I will leave it to the viewers to decide which one was in costume and which one was real. Both held an authenticity that would make one stop and think about the message they were trying to covey.A good time was had by all, including myself.
