What happened to my Choux Pastry?
I am from Sri Lanka and I would like to ask Mr.Tom Colicchio a question
Yesterday I tried my hand at making choux pastry, I wanted to make some eclares, I did everything in the correct way the receipe said, however, the pastry became sort of watery, and I would like to know the reason for this
I melted 100 grams of marg into 1/2 pint of water while on the fire and stirred as requseted and mixed until it left the pan and formed into a ball after cooling I added two eggs and stirred it again, however the mixture went wrong and it was too soft for pipping.
What went wrong with my choux pastry Mr.Chef?
Thank you,
Shari (ireporter sunethra) from Sri Lanka
