    This shot was taken January 1st, 2009, a great way to ring in 2009.

     

    When I signed up to teach a year in Thailand, I'd heard of some nice beaches, but never thought I would experience such true beauty.  The beach islands of southern Thailand have a beauty unlike anywhere else, with crystal teal water, and gigantic limestone cliffs jutting up hundreds of feet out of the water.
