This iReport is part of an assignment:
Is your job great? |
Artist and Dealer: a great gamble!
Even in good times, artists don't make much money, so the struggle when the economy collapsed has become even more intense. My answer has been to devise a creative plan of tremendous potential, with hopes I will win big.
The plan involves making an entire deck of cards from chopped up American Money, part of a larger style of work I call MoneyMorphosism. I'm committing to 1 auction on Ebay every week for the next year: 52 cards, 52 weeks, 52 auctions.
The first auction started today: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110453414905&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
With the right amount of luck, this might be a way to create a steady source of income to fund my further explorations as an artist.
