My secret is not so secret.
I live in a beautiful and changing city.
Our down town district is being refurbished. New restaurants, unique shops and stores. Our historical movie theaters offer excellent entertainment and movies. Market Square and Krutch Park give a sense of pride, offering concerts, festivals, farmers market, art and a great place to have a peaceful lunch.
Once a bustling business and shopping district, strip malls and super malls were the death of Knoxville's downtown.
My secret is not far away , in my own neighborhood.
An older neighborhood of hard working folks and good people.
From old Victorian, depression era, 60's little boxes all made out of ticky tacky houses, apartments and condos, it is a pleasant place to live.
Churches and restaurants are found on every corner, it seems.
What I love best is having four season to enjoy.
I often take walks just to see who is planting what in their flower gardens.
Fall is breathtaking and my favorite time in K-Town.
I always fret if it will be a colorful season, but I have never been disappointed. I only have to go as far a my own back yard to see some of the most amazing autumn beauty.
