    Rihanna IS Superwoman!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     omekongo is a motivational speaker and frequent iReporter who often shares his thoughts on politics and other news events. Here, he responds to singer Rihanna's interview on Good Morning America, the first since she was a victim of domestic violence.
    - katie, CNN iReport producer

I am so impressed and excited about Rihanna speaking out! We need young celebrities to add themselves to the fight against domestic violence. She clearly said she couldn't live with a young girl using what happened to her as an excuse to be beaten. Across the country, I see young girls allowing themselve to be pushed around and smiling about it because they think that's how you show affection. This helps show them this is wrong. Parents can't reach our kids alone, schools can't do it alone. We need an holistic approach on this issue. Rihanna has helped so many of us who fight against this issue! It is indeed better late than never. Thanks so much!
