DeDe Scozzafava Interview- "GOP Lies, Gay Lover, and Baby Killer?"
Many think that the GOP was lily white in this race in the 23RD upstate NY district. Our local TV station, channel 7 carried this interview with Scozzafava after the election.
She makes it clear that the RNC would not support her financially at all and when she dropped out, they then opened the checkbook to Hoffman.
Mike Steele, RNC Chairman, said he supported the local decision to choose Scozzafava as Republican Candidate. But they gave her no money.
She was running out and couldn't refute the lies that Hoffman's PACs were saying about her. She received calls and letters that accused her of being a "Gay" lover and a lesbian, a baby killer and being corrupt.
