    Two pictures, one from on top of the Wall pointed east and showing East Germany border police (Greppos).

     

    I was a military volunteer at the Marienfelde refugee camp in  West Berlin through most of October and through November 9. My unit was cycled out of the camp late on Nov 10 and my girlfriend and I went down to the Brandenburg Gate to watch everything.

     

    No experience since has come close to that night for me.
