Who is looking out 4 U?

While Obama announced that the AARP and the AMA were endorsing the Democrat's Heath Care bill, minority leader John Boehner was whipping out his pocket Constitution proclaiming, "Health Care Reform is the greatest threat to Freedom." You better watch out when Republicans start talking all that Freedom stuff. The last time they got all high on that word we invaded Iraq renamed our fries and kisses. These ridiculous theatrical stunts are embarrassing. Has he no shame? I guess 9-11 and Pearl Harbor have been officially down graded by Boner as lesser threats to freedom. If he has to lie to that degree of ridiculousness, then shouldn't that tell you something?

The AARP assists seniors with medical coverage and the AMA is an association for medical doctors. These endorsements show that the doctors and representatives of seniors know this bill will save money. They wouldn't risk their reputation despite what Republicans say. Do you have to keep getting disappointed by the GOP lying to you? You believed in Bush once, believed in him twice, but even stubborn Republicans are not buying it from him now. Would you trust your nation's doctors or the guys that brought you the Great Recession and have managed to blame it on everyone from poor people to Clinton to Pelosi?

Which one is it? You guys hate the public option because you know that paying all the suits in the board room like rock stars, paying off all those Republicans, paying for marketing, etc. is so much more expensive than paying government employees. MediCare has an overhead of less than 3% while private insurance is as high as 30%. You guys always try to have your cake and eat it too. How can a public option be worse than private care and at the same time put it out of business? Is it so terrible and expensive that people would rather choose it in the free market over a well established cheaper, higher quality private product?

I have to hand it to the GOP and their bold "all chips are in" move. If Health Care Reform succeeds and the economy continues to recover, they are going to have a hard time living down all the Socialist temper tantrums and tea bagger protests. Their political future depends on our failure. Doesn't that just make you feel nice and comfy? That basic fact alone should make you wonder about their intentions at all times. Are you such a sore loser that you pray for the country's failure just to feel like you're a winner?
