    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Yesterday as the base was in lockdown, PamSteph locked her doors and windows. 'I was very afraid, hearing there was more than one shooter and they weren't caught. I had my kindergartener with me and she was crying, very upset.'

    Dropped my kindergardener off at school this morning, we live on Ft Hood.  There were armed soldiers and I think a general (?) in full battle-rattle at the school. Humvees and MPs
