    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Yesterday as the base was in lockdown, PamSteph locked her doors and windows. 'I was very afraid, hearing there was more than one shooter and they weren't caught. I had my kindergartener with me and she was crying, very upset.'

    There was an incredible amount of  press waiting to get on to Ft Hood today.   I saw them being led onto post by police escort for what a ppears to be a press conference
