A Word Of Advice
For those of you who are currently attending or planning to attend a University, I have a word of advice for you; use this time to its fullest advantage. Build up your skills and improve your work habits so that you can become more attractive for potential employers. The habits that you learn in college will stick with you for a very long time. Those four years should be used to improve yourself and challenge the way you think and even perform everyday tasks. Use that time to improve on your weaknesses. If you are struggling with math take a math class. You will see that little strategies like that can go a long way in helping you in the future. It will allow you to better prepare yourself for the tough environment that lies ahead. With the current state of the economy the way it is with 10.2% unemployed, anything that you can do to better yourself and help you bring something more to the table, can help you not only find a job but find a job that like and are prepared for.
It really bothers me to see certain students not live up to their full potential. I constantly tell them it’s better to make mistakes now while you are in college then in the work place. Try to improve yourselves by taking harder classes, sitting in the front of classroom, waking up early to get a head start on assignments, study longer for exams, and etc. All these strategies can only better your chances of finding the right job for you. Four years is a long time, don't waste it.
