Eco is Not Always Equal
Switch to green household products. They're better for your heath and for our environment. But, be warned, because not all "eco" products are created equal. Read the labels on your "green" household products. Look for Phosphate Free AND Chlorine Free.
To freshen air naturally, clean using diluted vinegar or 3% hydrogen peroxide to clean counter tops, appliances, sinks, and kitchen towels, open windows, use baking soda sachets, and grow houseplants. Anything to stay away from breathing in chemicals.
Replace bleach and use 3%hydrogen peroxide in your white laundry. Peroxide won't damage the fibers like chlorine can. This is the natural way that's better for you and the environment.
Try adding a cup of baking soda in your full load of laundry (white or colored) to freshen your clothes naturally. Works like magic.
