E...on Broadway
In an effort to show that I can do some serious paparazzi stuff, I took my lunch-break walk to 42nd Street to cover Elmo in New York City, on Broadway, mind you.
While all of New York was downtown watching the Yankess parade, I was midtown chasing the Seseame Street red hot idol who was graceful enough to pose with photo seekers and wave at passers-by.. Derek Jeter? Matsui? This is the real stuff. Some New Yorkers totally ignored him (it?), how rude.
The last two photos show Elmo involved in some cultural bridge-building exchange during the Turkish Days festival- only in New York does Elmo use a backpack.
Sorry, Elmo, but on a day like yesterday, you should've been wearing Yankee blue.
