Tech talk |
Fun with freeware.
Do you like to be creative with media on the computer? Digital cameras and music editors can be expensive. Luckily with some practice and imagination you can do some amazing things with freeware. The diamond skull with the water effect was done with "Sqirlz Water Reflections" the same co. makes "Sqirlz Morph" which allows you to make morphs 1 image to another.
The video was made in Linux and Windows XP. Linux is a freeware operating system with some advantages over Windows. In Linux I used "Zynaddsubfx" which is a freeware synthesizer for instruments and sonds. Then I used "Audacity" (availible on Windows too) to edit the sound clips. (I saved my music on an mp3 player) Then I switched back to Windows and downloaded free animated gifs and made the video in "Movie Maker".
I know the video is kinda morbid but understand it was made Halloween night. Well, I hope I hope this is interesting to you. The video can be downloaded and embeded here:
