Passions over health care reform |
Congrads to Obama POUS - HCR Bill Passes In House 220 -215
Today President Obama is one step closer to signing the Edward Kennedy Health Care Reform Act. Senator Kennedy faithful served this country and disadvantage Americans for forty-seven years. With the passing of Senator Kennedy, we lost a great champion of Health Care Reform. Today I am so proud that we are one step closer to providing affordable health care coverage as a right and not a privilege for all Americans.
I hope and pray that members from both parties in the Senate will honor Kennedy’s memory by voting for a Health Care Reform bill that includes a public option. A public option in health care reform is not an option for health care reform; It’s a necessity for AFFORDABLE health care in this country.
The Senate should pass the Edward Kennedy Health Care Bill with deliberate haste by any means necessary. Passing the bill with (51 or 60 votes) is totally acceptable to me and the voters that elected President Obama in 2008.
