INDIAN COURT ISSUED SUMMONS TO DOG!!!

After watching Madhur Bhandarkar's movie 'JAIL' I couldnt stop appretiating him for bringing in to day light such a bad face of India. The movie is based on a successful youth who got falsely implicated in a criminal case and exposes the rotten administration and Judicial System of India.

The National Human Rights Commission records and the statistics shown by Mr.Bhandarkar are closely matching which shows his dedication and effort in studying the subject matter throughly. The movie shows the extremely pathetic situation of Thane Jail as well. This is gross injustice towards citizens, I should say human beings, and utter shame on Independent India.

It is startling to know that 2.45 lakhs of Indian prisoners out of 3.73 Lakh have not yet been found guilty!!! Its not even funny that Indian court had once ordered the "accused" mongrel would be produced on every date; and later Sub-Divisional Officer exempted the dog from appearing in court ON THE GROUND that the time-frame fixed under section 107 of CrPC for hearing the case has expired!!! (http://www.ndtv.com/news/offbeat/dog_gets_relief_from_making_rounds_of_court.php)
Chottu, the 7 year old dog got international media coverage as hero (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/7528199.stm) but India and Indian Administrative System got badly humiliated at international level.

These facts emphasis that the need of the hour is not a permanent membership in United Nations or a moon mission but complete Judicial reforms and overhauling of Police Act. India has witnessed animal rights activists saving a dog but what about 65% of prisoners who are "sentenced" before a fair trial? Hence Indian Aministrative System has proven a complete failure over and over again.
