    Remembering Tim Russert

Tim Russert Park, West Seneca, NY

This is a picture of the park that was dedicated a few years ago to Buffalo native Tim Russert. Flowers were laid there this weekend in tribute to him after his death on June 13th, 2008.

West Seneca is a town next door to South Buffalo, which is mainly of Irish heritage.

Tim was our native son, someone who was our voice and megaphone on the positive things about Buffalo. Yes, we have snow, and chicken wings, but Tim was our representive to the world about all that is good about our area.

    R.I.P. Timmy!
