    Marketing Power

Has Marketing become so powerful that is has turned against us? While many might disagree, marketing has become a commanding tool in any new and current company’s arsenal. Many companies are now taking advantage of new outlets for marketing such as facebook, twitter, and blogs. With new avenues for companies to reach us, we must begin to think about the messages we keep getting sucked into.

What makes a successful product sell these days? Many would kill to know the answer, but in most cases it is clear. Grab your audience’s attention and make yourself stand out from all the rest. While this method seems easy at first one must remember the large amount of capital it takes to run such successful campaigns. In that respect, we must begin to think, are the products that continuously run on television, magazines ads, bill boards, and more, the best products available? Or are they just second class products that are backed by large companies willing to shell out the marketing money.

People must remember that even though they see a product on TV, it does not make it a proven effective product. Companies spend millions on ad campaigns, commercials, logo designs, websites, internet marketing, and more, in order to showcase their products for its customers. Another words constant marketing campaigns can sometimes create the illusion of superiority and grab the attention of their audience, but only effective and proven products can hold on to their customers attention.
