Armistice Day was a great day of peace signed by Germany an the Allies who died fighting them. The ending of World War II was for peace. Every war after that was not for peace, the men and women who died serving our country died for the ideology of the politicians. Korea is still divided. why did the soldiers give their lives? Vietnam still in turmoil, why did our soldiers die there? Panama where I left my best comrade in the killing fields there, it's still the same. Iraq worse off than before, why did soldiers die there? Now Afghanistan will be the same. I'm a combat vet suffering with PTSD along with many, many others from many wars. We all have the same question why did all who have fallen and those who suffer and their families who suffer with them be put through this? When will it stop? My heart and my salute goes out to all who have served and their families, may one day we all find the solution and peace.
