Veterans Day: Faces of Service

The nation's largest Veterans Day Parade is taking place in New York City on November 11, 2009.
Here are some pictures I took of proud veterans of different wars, at the parade's staging grounds today.
1-Marge Zwick, from NYC- An original WAC, Work War II
2-Frank Squirrell from the Cherokee Nation, Oklahoma, a veteran of the Korean War.
3-Arnold Strauch, WWII, served 1943-1946, from NYC
4-Sarah Hirst from Stillwell Oklahoma, President of the Vietnam War Veterans of America, chapter 877.
5-Juan Rodriguez, a Mexican-Cherokee, Vietnam War, 75th Rangers
6-Samuel Vazquez, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico- served on the 65th Infantry in Korea,
7-Laurence Lynch a Vietman War veteran from Mt. Vernon, NY.
