    Remembering Tim..

Since I have been legal age to vote there have been three presidential elections, this coming will be my fourth and I'm not sure how I'm going to get through election day without watching Tim Russert. He was always mine and my friends favorite to watch on election day, he seemed to light up and get so excited about it, he really made me excited about politics which I thought would never happen to me. I would always have Meet the Press on Sunday mornings while I was drinking coffee or cleaning up the house, it was just a regular routine. When I heard the news I thought it was a joke.......I still can't much believe it. Seeing the empty chair on Sunday broke my heart. My prayers are with his wife, son and family. He will be greatly missed. I, of course, did not know him in person but he seemed one of those people who brightened peoples lives and loved his craft.

Thank you Tim Russert for all you taught me about politics over the years, I probably wouldn't have been as interested if it weren't for you and your enthusiasm.
