Puerto Vallarta Mexico
It has been years and way too long ago since our last trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. PV was one of my first introductions to Mexico and is a great place to start. We went with a group of friends and together we rented a villa high in the hills with the greatest view of the Bay of Banderas, over looking the old town of Puerto Vallarta and a jungle that backed up to the villa, we felt as if we were Kings and the world was our oyster. With the warmth of the mid summer season and the cooling breezes from a top of the mountains, it made this location a heaven on earth. We spent most of our time shirtless wrapped in colorful sarongs and we spent most of our days lounging around, drinking Margaritas and trying to decide what we would eat next. Don't get me wrong, we did get out and explore the city, chartered a boat to visited the small fishing village of Yelapa and toured a local Tequila factory, but the best part of our trips to Puerto Vallarta was the R&R. No better place to soak up the sun, eat the best of real Mexican food and forget the worries of the world. Can't wait to get back.
