    My Little Piece of the Berlin Wall

    In November 2009 when the berlin wall fell I was just a little kid in Kano, Nigeria but was fascinated hearing my older siblings talk about it and watching it in the News.

     

    The best part of the experience was that I got a fragment from the wall a year later courtesy of a competition by Deutche Welle, the German Radio station(20 years ago, satellite TV and the internet was still a far cry but Short wave radio was HOT!) .

     

    I keep my fragment of the Berlin wall close and hope that some day it will be on display as part of my own personal exhibits.
