MoveOn.org organized over 120 protests nationwide Thursday night to keep the momentum going straight through to the Senate's vote on health care reform.

I went to cover the one at the Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda.  There Republican Representative Gary Miller of the 42nd District was hosting a Service Academy Night that was open to the public.

Jorgito Ayvar, Head of Security for Covenant that covers the library denied entry to the protestors, whom he did not expect, because one small 6x6 paper that said "Public Option Now" was visible.  He said that the library was not entirely a federal building and it was also considered private property.

After I looked into it, I found that yes there has been some misunderstanding to the library being federal or not.  Although, it is indeed a federal building as part of the National Archives and Records Administration.

The protestors were disappointed that they were not able to express their grievances with Rep. Miller, but took  their bigger signs to the street where they received honks in support and no one demonstrated against them.

One protestor commented how she went to the town hall meeting that Rep. Miller had back in September and it was a "joke."  Miller just handed out one sheet "full of lies" and then quickly left.
