    Charla Nash's Face Shown on Oprah

    I think when you see someone's face all mangled up like on Oprah, it's difficult because it really forces you to look face to face with our own mortality - kind of unveils the real fragility of our own lives.

     

    She's a brave woman though, and you gotta' give her credit for hangin' in theret. Another similar story is Jacqueline Saburido, who's face was destroyed in a drunk driving accident. See image below...
