Stop the War Scotland Holds Demonstration in Edinburgh

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     JoyfulGypsy told me, 'It was very peaceful, just a lot of people playing music and holding up signs. I would say maybe 200 people showed up.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

Stop the War Scotland held a demonstration in Edinburgh, assembling at noon on Saturday, November 14, 2009, to coincide with NATO defence ministers meeting in the city.

Protestors called for troops out of Afghanistan and the scrapping of Trident (which forms part of the NATO nuclear arsenal). The demonstration is backed by the Scottish Afghan Society, Scottish CND, British CND and UK Stop the War.

Pat Sanchez of Manchester, England attended the demonstration and gives her opinion in the attached video.
