Salute to troops |
Life as an Army fiance
My fiance Private First Class Christopher Chakot is currently deployed to Iraq and is stationed at Forward Operating Base Camp Freedom I; formerly known as FOB Warhorse. He's serving a one year tour of duty and will be returning in July 2010. No one understands the hardships that we both endure. Being separated for a year and not being able to speak everyday takes its toll. Chris and I are High School sweethearts and plan to get married in May 2011 before he will redeploy overseas. He joined the Army right after high school and completed all of his training. He loves the Army and wouldn't want to be doing anything else. Chris is all I ever wanted in life and more.
