This iReport is part of an assignment:
Ask Dr. Sanjay Gupta |
my 18 year old son and psoriatic athritis
Dr. Gupta
My 18 year old son was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with psoriatic arthritis. We know very little about it but we knew that my son had arthritis since he was 9 and now the doctor said she thought it was this kind.
We know a man in our town who has the same kind and he is in a wheel chair and cannot move most of his limbs. is this what we have to look forward to.
right now my sons feels all right. He has his spells where his legs hurt bad and he cannot do much when that happens.
Is there a good chance that my son may lose the use of his legs and will his life be full of pain. I want the truth I want to know. what are the chances of that happening.
His doctor said she would be his pain management doctor and she would take the symptoms as they come. Is this all we can do?
