Terrorists Fair Better Than Military
I cannot fathom a president of the United States would consider a Military Tribunal is not appropriate for Terrorists yet allows the military soldier to be prosecuted by one. The objections raised by legal experts have been raised many times over by the military prosecuted by such a tribunal. A military tribunal is harsh, imposes far greater sentences, and most in cases not true to a civilian court convicts on perception in lieu of facts. A military judge is anyone who has been appointed by the president, which, in the case of the military, any officer. They are not elected, they have no terms of office, and they have no set of rules in sentencing, yet the supreme court in a recent case sided that the military tribunal was just. If that is the case, then the military tribunal is the correct avenue for terrorist justice. Why should they be given better consideration than our military?
