Being self-employed, if my job isn't great whose fault is it?! MagneticPursenality was launched January 20, 2009 in recognition of our country's yes-we-can spirit.  Through fair trade sources, we sought artisans around the world to create beautiful pouches from recycled and natural materials.  This search deepened my understanding and commitment to fair trade and the environment.  Our sales support artisans and community projects worldwide which is a fringe benefit not found in the 9-5 workplace.   By including these stories on our website, we are working to educate the public on fair trade and encourage our customers to switch their buying power to fair trade products.  We are at trade shows meeting fun, positive people and have been graciously invited by the artisans and their families to visit.  Again, I ask . . . how could my job not be great?
