The city of Santa Cruz in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, is preparing for the installation of the largest religious image of northeastern Brazil. This is the opening next year of the image of Santa Rita, the largest ever built in Latin America and second in the world. The image with a total of 58 meters is located on Mount Carmelo in the urban area. The complex will have the holy cafeteria, chapel, restaurant, plaza for open-air mass, auditorium and shops for religious articles.
