After seeing the report about the open interest shown by  the Vatican in science, special "Alien out there" It makes me feel good as a Catholic.

Finally, The Vatican took the head out of the sand and look into the heavens (space).

After hearing Chris Impey, explain the meeting with the Vatican theologians and the Vatican interest in that matter, made my believes that, science and religion, should always walk hand in hand.

The idea of aliens, regardless of beingh superior of inferior to us, does not go against the idea of the Christian faith and the believe that Christ came to us  to save our souls, etc... etc...

God can have millions of other beings spread all over of the Universe, and send some of Its better Sons, try to help us reach the "eternal life",

Or maybe, we on earth, should be ashamed that we eartlings are the "black Sheep"  and He had to send Christ to save us. Who Knows!

The true is.  For a catholic like me, I believe, God takes care of all His children, regardless in what planet they are.

Also, it is good that The Vatican is starting to understand that maybe we are not the only children of God.

Galileo must be turning and laughing in his grave with happiness!
