Here we go again. Who's next to receive an official United States Presidential Bow? Chavez? Castro? Ahmadeinejad? Kim Jong-il?

We found a war to through off the chains of servitude to royalty and despots. We bow to no head of state nor do we expect any head of state to bow to us. We are on equal footing to all...until now, I guess.

For God's sake, I learned this basic concept back in elementary school. I know that President Obama did not go to elementary school in the United States, but damn...he does have a protocol officer, right?

I know, I know...many will say "It's the custom in Japan, Saudi Arabia, etc. to bow." Guess what? Last I checked, our president is not Japanese nor Saudi, and unless someone knows different, he needs to represent the United States as the Head of State.

Mr. President - You are the President of the United States. Please stop bowing to people and start acting like our Head of State when overseas.
