    Are people really making a flap about this? It's nothing more than a cultural gesture to a cultural figurehead. It's just a nicety, not a sign tat the Japanese emporer is superior. This is frigging stupid that we're even hearing people get upset about this. The president is the leader of the free world (an unofficial title, by the way) and an elected public official. Let's not get carried away.
