2012 The Movie: My Personal Opinion On The Movie
I finally got to see 2012 today. Let me first start out by saying that I am not much of a fan of Roland Emmerich. I thought Independance Day was good the first hour, then it took a nose dive with a cheezy ending.
2012 has some very impressive special effects, worth the price of admission. But the story line was cheezy at times, and almost comical. There were some scenes that just was not very realistic at all. I found myself yawning with some of the dialogue, especially the ending which I thought was way too cheezy. Out of 4 stars, I'd give this one 2 and a half stars for excitement and some scenes that made me hold onto my seat. I wished that Jerry Bruckheimer would have done this movie, because at least he adds more drama and emotion in his movies...
