    Mr. President: Did you let the Chinese people know of our regard for them?

    Most of the people I know have always loved China and its people, regardless of  politics.

     

    My mother read Chinese stories to me when I was a child and thus began a lifetime of appreciation for Chinese art and culture.

     

    I hope  you have told their leaders how much many of us do like and respect their country.
