    PEC  Awarded  3rd Contract with Metropolitan Water Reclamation District  of Greater Chicago

    SPRINGFIELD, IL --November 15, 2009 -Pennington Equipment Company, Incorporated announced today that the Chicago MWRD has awarded a 3rd consecutive contract for the supply of SWEETFILTER® and ZEOCARBON® odor control and  separation equipment.

    Commenting on the announcement, Rod Pennington, PEC chairman and chief executive officer, said, "We are extremely pleased with the MWRD decision.  It not only verifies that the technology for our sewer odor control systems is valid, but also demonstrates that the name recognition of our Sweetfiilter Trademark line of products is continuing to grow support from the Environmental Industry."

    Mr. Pennington continued, "The MWRD decision is significant to our business  because it confirms PEC as the exclusive supplier of these valuable specialty systems in odor control and elimination for the municicpal, restaurant, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, water treatment, and biotechnology markets. It also positions us to pursue other large municipal systems as a part of our overall marketing  strategy."

    Assessing Odor Purification, Separation,  and Elimination Needs
