People can do their own research, but no, Dr. Owhadi came to Caltech in the Fall 2004, almost 2 years after the Rense.com article. He has academic history in Switzerland and France and is a fellow of the University of Provence, and was also educated in Paris. Drs. Burisch and McDowell have been invited to Caltech, not having anything to do with the Looking Glass. They have been invited to demo LOTUS and they will ask the academicians present for their advice.  They are going to demo Lotus, not anything else. This happened quite naturally.  Dr. Owhadi introduced himself to Drs. Burisch and McDowell in December 2006, and he invited them for this seminar on January 22, 2007. That means that they knew about it when they were last at Laughlin being interviewed by Jerry Pippin! Many other people knew about it too: people with honor who know how to keep confidences!
