just wanted to share in this section images of the festivities in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary and Chiquinquira, patron saint of the state of Zulia, Venezuela. Today, november 18th 2009, marks 300 years of marian aparition in the city, The square outside the church is where the mass was held. many believers make their pilgrimage to the church. Public personalities praise their respects to the saint. November 18th is a regional holiday, aside from the obvious religious events, many tourists also flock into town to enjoy the week long festivities and events (sports, music and theater),
