    Severe rain brings down earth slips in Kandy

    Yesterday heavy rains brought down a landslide from the top of the hill on to this tunnel, close to where I stay, so this morning we could not go through the tunnel until the roadway going into the tunnel was cleared, here you see the road workers cleaning the earth on top of the tunnel and on the road, we had to make detour from another roadway to get home.
