Same-sex marriage: Civil right vs. states' rights |
Gay Marriage is Unconstitutional
I am a 42 year old married man who grew up in Laguna Beach so I know a little about the homosexual lifestyle. I even know and love some homosexual friends.
The dictionay defines marriage as "the legal or religious ceremony that formalizes the decision of a man and woman to live as husband and wife" Marriage was created by God to be between a man and a woman. This ruling feels like it is an oppression of my religious beliefs. The ruling tends to minimize the meaning of marriage and has an adverse impact on our society overall.
Let's look at it this way - let's say I was into beastiality and wanted to call that act Bahmitzvah - would that be ok? Prbably would because it would be persecuting Jews.
Frustrated
