Do you haunt graveyards? |
Santa Monica Beach Virtual Graveyard
I was on my way to meet up with friends one day at the Santa Monica Beach pier. It was a beautiful, blissful day and I was looking forward to some great food, sun and fun.
But on my merry walk down toward the pier, I noticed a virtual graveyard on the beach. One of the signs read, "Arlington West." It was a startling reminder that people were dying in a war far away from the realities of my life. The experience certainly put things in perspective.
